Staying connected with friends helps solidify our well-being and can give it an extra boost when needed. quick phone call can often do the trick. As you know, there are also some friends we might not talk to for several months. We might not reach out because we think we don’t have time for a long conversation or just get busy. However, we can nourish friendships with an occasional card or text. My Uncle Wesley and I came up with the “Quickie Call.” It’s a short, roughly 5 minute “How’re you doing?” call to keep connections strong. Make at least 1 “Quickie Call” a week to someone you
haven’t spoken to in a while – or even someone you want to speak to regularly.
